1818 St. Andrew's Scotch Kirk, Kolkata, India
This Scottish church is based on St. Martin's-in-the-Fields Church in London's Trafalgar Square. Scottish word for church is kirk. The Anglican bishop of Calcutta tried to block the spire as he believed that only the Church of England had the right to do so. It borders Dalhousie Square.
