Moravian Cemetery, Todt Hill, Staten Island, New York, New York

Moravian Cemetery is largest on Staten Island in Todt Hill.  It is the final resting place of Vanderbilt clan,world's richest family.

Kunhardt Mausoleum (1895) by Carrere & Hastings.  Kunhardt was a sugar barron.

This gate leads to the private Vanderbilt Mausoleum, which was constructed in 1885 as a replica of a Romanesque church in Arles, France. Richard Morris Hunt, architect, Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect.  There are 72 family members within the tomb
