Raj Bhawan & nearby, Kolkata, India

Raj Bhawan, Government House
 Raj Bhawan, built in 1803, after Lord Wellesley decided that India should be governed from a palace, based on Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire, the property of Lord Scarsdale.  It has more than 60 rooms and housed King George V in 1911.  It became the residence of the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal when the capital was moved to Delhi.
